Every vehicle that enters or leaves a ready-mix concrete plant crosses the weighbridge, and that single reading decides three things at once: what the vendor gets paid, what production yield looks like on paper, and what gets billed to the customer. When that number is keyed in by a gate operator, it is also the single easiest place in the plant to manipulate — and the hardest place to prove it happened.

Weighbridge fraud rarely looks dramatic. It looks like a driver and an operator who know each other well, a reading nudged a few hundred kilograms in one direction, and a paper slip that nobody cross-checks against anything else.
