  • The Asst. Sales Manager’s responsibilities include analyzing industry trends to identify ways to improve company products
  • Ensuring that customers are satisfied with the company products and services
  • Submitting sales plans and sales reports to higher management
  • You should also be able to resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Cultivating solid relationships with major customers to ensure a continuous flow of sales revenue.
  • Identifying promising prospects through cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals.
  • Implement marketing plans designed to maintain and increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
  • Develop sales presentations, participate in meetings with clients and external vendors.
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support.
  • answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions.
  • Complete RFP’s and proposals, follow up on submissions and close business.
  • Prepared PPT for clients and arranged meetings and demos.
  • Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at Client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.
  • Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database (CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information.
  • Oversee, maintain, and upgrade existing accounts to ensure ongoing client satisfaction.
  • Ensuring that all sales administration and customer service activities run smoothly.
  • Providing overall guidance to newly recruited Sales team members.
  • Knowledge of productivity tools and software.
  • Maintaining accurate records of the total number of sales made, potential and existing customers, as well as sales employee performance evaluations.
  • Assisting newly recruited or less experienced Sales Managers in answering technical questions posed by customers.
  • Analysing sales metrics to determine whether current sales strategies are effective or not.
  • Conducting in-depth research on competitors’ products, pricing, and market success to gain insight into customer preferences and interests.
